MailPoet WordPress Plugin: MailPoet Newsletters
MailPoet comes with a strong newsletter system. Thus, allowing you to take full control of the looks & feel of your email template. Take a look at the image below:
The screen you see above is the initial step in the creation of a new newsletter. Let’s say I want to use an existing template rather than creating a new one from scratch. The image below is the editing screen:
As you can see from this screenshot, You control the whole Spectrom of the template. This awesome feature allows the creation and integration of stunning templates without any knowledge in coding (what you normally would do without a plugin)
Finally, the last detail here is the customization of, let’s call it, “logistics”., Take a look below.
The Little helper lines under each setting are pretty self-explanatory, very simple. Furthermore, you can even integrate Google Analytics Campaign features in the paid version of MailPoet. Let’s Move on
Custom Forms & User Subscription System
In this section, I will cover the whole part of subscription forms and user handling. Right of the bat, MailPoet comes built-in with a custom form handler which allows for the creation of custom forms with a simple interface without any previous knowledge in coding (Implemented easily with MailPoet shortcodes and widgets).
With that being said, keep in mind that if you like to make things look your way in a custom way with forms, you will have to know a bit of CSS.
As mentioned before, MailPoet lets you easily manage your subscribers. Moreover, you can even use another cool feature called: “Lists”. Allowing you even to create custom premade lists and groups of subscribers that you control. Ultimately, the main goal here is the specific targeting of groups per your requirements, and for instance, only email those specific users under the chosen group you’ve set.
as you can see from the image above, all of the details are in your hands here. The image below portraits the list’s management we talked about before:
MailPoet’s Email Tracking systems

That’s right, you heard it right, You can know how successful the emails you sent are. This is presented to you inside the dashboard on each newsletter you sent out. It comes in the form of:
- Opened / Not Opened Email
Needless to say, this is a very powerful indicator to have. Kind’a like a cheat.
Finally, as you can see from the image above, there are certain tabs in this section. These are more tool you can use to set up:

However, there are more extra features under the settings section which allow even more control. We won’t go into them in detail, due to the reason they are pretty self-explanatory and you should check them out by yourself with the demo provided above to get a real feel of this plugin. However, if it’s overwhelming, don’t worry, every option has a very detailed explanation provided inside the settings panel itself.
Before we reach the MailPoet pricing plans, let’s take a look at some user reviews taken from the official plugin repo page:
Well, if you ask me, that’s a pretty good rating from users. Keep in mind its the free version(limited to 1000 subscribers). Moreover, I always read the 1-star reviews, in my opinion, they are crucial in understanding the major issues in service or product. Hence, I went over the negative reviews, you know what I found out?
They are mostly focused on “bugs”, most posts don’t even specify what bugs. Moreover, complaints about support. In my opinion, I found it strange due to the fact that MailPoet responds to threads even on the same day or the day after.
Ultimately, I couldn’t find anything solid to discourage me from buying the extended version if I wanted too. In short, I see a super responsive and friendly support team and a pretty solid product. Besides, they have 20 pages of 5-star reviews(586 comments and reviews), that’s a ton, I also read some of them and they are genuine. Seems like users are really happy with the solution MailPoet offers.

Let me state right off the bat, MailPoet is free up to 1000 subscribers. Afterward, it breaks down to an annual pricing and a monthly one, Prices are starting from 13 Euros. Visit the Official MailPoet website and get a precise price based upon the number of subscribers.
